Chicken Stromboli

AsSalam & Good Day

Today I wish to write more than before but it seems quite impossible :(
But, just wanna share with you that stromboli is just as simple as calzone with fillings up to your liking.

As I always go for simplicity, stromboli is one of my choices for our lunchboxes or afternoon tea dish. Stromboli is actually a turnover pizza so we need pizza dough here.... I made the dough using Richard Bertinet's and the filling I made it up on my own. Please remember, Bertinet prefers using "grams" for his ingredients so please follow it correctly, ya?

Pizza dough

Ingred:
500g high protein flour
10g salt
50g olive oil
10g instant yeast
320g tepid water

Cara uli.
A. Tangan
1. Dlm satu bekas, gaulkn tepung & salt. Guna jari2 shj.
2. Dlm bekas lain, yg lebih besar, cmpurkn olive oil, yeast & water. Masukkn 1. ke dlm 2. Gaul sikit2 dgn scrapper hgg bercampur.
3. Pindahkn cmpuran 2. ke atas work surface yg disapu dgn tepung. Uli 5min or hgg dough licin & anjal - ikut cara folding Bertinet, lg bagus, cpt & dough cpt prove. (Cuba google nama dia, tgk cara2 uli Bertinet style).
4. Letak doh dlm bekas yg disapu dgn sdkit tepung, tutup dgn cling foil, let it rise smpi naik 2x ganda.
5. Bila dh rise double in size, tumbuk2 utk buang angin. Then bahagi2 kn doh ikut saiz yg nak-dpt dlm 3 or 4. Buat bntuk bebola. Guna rolling pin utk canai & bentukkn spt rectangle. Sapu sdkit olive oil ats dough then baru letakkan toppings tp jgn smpi bhg tepi. Then gulungkn. Biarkn another 5-7mins.
6. Atas stromboli blh je sapu dgn air or milk, taburkn sesame seeds or cheese, ikut kesukaan msg2.
7. Bakar dgn 220C (yg dicdgkn 250C tp ikut jugek oven msg2).


B. Bread machine.
1. Masukkan bhn2, dari susunan bwh ke atas, means start with air.
2. Bila nk masukkn garam, letakkn di satu sisi dlm bekas mesin, bila nk masukkn yeast pula, letakkn di sisi yg lain...tujuannye xmo bg salt & yeast bercampur serta merta. Set to dough, then tggu ler 1 1/2jam lg.
3. Once dough is ready, terus ikut step 4. tapi lps bntukkn jd bebola, rest kjap then baru smbg buat spt step 4. tu.

Fillings:
Mcm topping pizza, blh je letak ikut kesukaan suami/isteri & anak2. Cth...ayam, daging, mozarella, feta cheese, tomato, mushroom, pepperoni, bwg & etc. 
Atau pun nak buat macam inti karipap/pau ayam tu pun sedap kan? You're the chef, you choose...!

Toppings
Shredded cheddar cheese secukupnya
Sesame seed


Cara:
Bahagikan doh kepada bberapa bebola (ikut saiz yang cukup/dikehendaki).
Canaikan satu doh, buat bentuk rectangle.
Taburkan filling (biarkan ruang tak ber-filling di keliling rectangle).
Gulung doh, pastikan bhg hujung diletakkan di bawah.
Taburkan cheddar/ sesame seed. Biarkan naik 2kali ganda.
Bakar hgga keemasan, suhu dlm 190-200C (ikut kepanasan oven msg2).
Dah masak, potong spt dalam gambar.
